Check my router depth please

I should have looked into all this before hand and I am out a mear $35 on this cheng dong router but maybe can sell it here. The bit just wont go deep enough. It just needs another 1/8 of an inch but its not getting there.

I have found a Makita rt0700C which looks like it may be identical to the rt0701c just made for south america? Can anyone confirm this will work? Its $137 us. I also see a Makita 3700 for $105 that may be the same as the Makita 3709. Look identical on the web. I think I would prefer the 0700c for the adjustable speed.

Yes, per Futures website, the Makita rt0700C will work.

I am on my way to pickup the 3709. Found it for $105. The 0700c is more expensive and two day wait. Thank you!!

Good for you. Makita is great quality and you will use it for other things. I have learned the hard way to really check things out before I buy a tool, especially on the internet. It is an extreme bummer to buy a tool unseen and then when you get it you find there is no way in hell you can make it work.
