Chubbies surf fins?

Anyone seen or tried these yet?

I know there are a few people around here that like big thick foils.

The other topic these things will undoubtably bring up is that of the pros and cons of rake…

Regardless, I think I might just have to try a set!  They look VERY interesting to me…

gave them a go on my favorite small wave board ,

i have nothing positive to say about them . sorry .

i am a fin fanatic and try LOTS of different fins too

Bummer!  I thought they would have had lots of grip and speed by the looks of them…

Knowaloha,  you just saved me some coinage my wallet thanks you

Some people say that opinions are like assholes - everyone’s got one…

Really, opinions are (or should be) like farts - you don’t mind your own, but anyone’s else’s smell like shit…

You’ll never know unless you try for yourself. One of the self declared sages around here once said that a fin designed by Mike Hynson was a piece of crap - but that fin, on a great board, worked like a dream for me - better than anything else available at the time…

If they really believe in their fins - they’ll have some sort of trial deal available somewhere/somehow at shops. You never know - they could light up one particular/style board - when they might drag another down.

Don’t dismiss their potential by one person’s diss on this site. That’s their fart…

Seeing as this thread is now a couple of years old I was wondering if anyone else had bought or tested these fins in the meantime.

The reason I ask is that lately I’ve found I really enjoy surfing quite thick single fins and the feeling they have. For the times I surf a thruster or quad I would like to try these but am not sure if a cluster of thick fins will be overkill or not. And In the past I’ve also not been that inclined to more upright profile fins as the waves I surf usually require longer drawn out turns.

In lieu of anyone’s first hand experience with these fins I would gratefully accept any theoretical opinion from those Swaylockians with a long history and experience with fin design (you know who you are). Thanks in advance for any advice.
