I love the ci leash plug bling, the nice golden plug.
what a good idea, there is nothing uglier (other than fcs black plugs) on a surfboard than a leash plug.
i was wondering if anyone know how much it would cost to do something similar?
i never really liked Ci style, i like his shapes but the image of the company suck in my opinion, i guess Burton is trying to change that, and i like.
if anyone has any info on getting this done would be appreciated.
Been setting my (standard) leash plugs under the glass, makes more sense to me this way. I’d be keen to get a hold of some of the O’fish’l under the glass plugs here in Australia, they look like the go.
I’m more about functional than fancy but maybe you want an under the glass style one with your name in bling thats not gona fall off?
A couple of weeks back I was in the surf and a guy told me how his leash plug ripped out of his big name brand surfboard, that absolutly retarded!!
That leash plug "Bling" pops off the leash cup in short order. Who want's "bling" on their leash cup anyway? I want things that are simple and that work.
for sure some haters would write some bullshit about why bling and this or that…this site is full of them, alway some opinions but no functional answers…

Sorry Louis I wasn’t trying to inflict hatred, just had a ramble about plugs intalled badly and my un meaningful opinion on under the glass leash plugs. Bling is a funny word too… Guess you go to an injection moulding place to get your own leash plugs made? Who knows? Your asking the peanut gallery so…

That plug looks cool… Scary thing is that, really barracudas go for shiny stuff, necklaces, watches, shiny fishing lures… Teeth on those fish are sharp! For aesthetics I would go for no leash plug, glass on fin(s), tint, cut laps and gloss and polish. For strength if one really needs a leash attachment, a thick ugly resin loop will do the trick. Light hi performance board for flying air reverse and all that stuff: cheapest options may be best, with 4 0z glass, it’s going to break anyway, think skateboards: grind those trucks, slide those wheels, scratch the graphics off the deck railsliding… Ollie down the 10 step stairs until the board breaks. Screw the trucks to a new deck and keep shreddin. Equivalent to surf pros having 10 6’1s, only thing is that surfboards are more expensive than skateboards.
when i did pop stairs i always broke my back truck or the the tail.
