Just curious, I came across 2 clark foam blanks in untouched condition. 1st quality superblue 7’3". Two different rockers and outlines. So I’m not real savvy about clark foam and was curious if these are highly sought after or not? Dunno if I should just make a couple boards, or sell them as is.
Would appreciate some feedback and opinions.
Thanks!
I recently bought a couple of 7’3" Clark blanks off Craigslist, for around $85 each. They are nice to work with and I’d say make yourself some boards… or use one and sell the other to buy glassing supplies. In some areas they go for more $$ but there’s still a few floating around…
I think Keith has the right idea, shape one for yourself just to know what they were like. Basham’s in San Clemente has a couple of hundred left, mostly 6’5 green and they sell for about $50 each, but there are a few odd sizes still there. I shape 80 of these a year for that award show, Teen Choice Awards, and it’s always a treat to open a Clark.
However, the new foams out there are way better, in my opinion, just shape it for the experience!
Let us know what you think!

Midget ---------Good advice. I still shape one once in awhile out of a personal stash. There are as you say better foams easily available these days. It’s still a pleasure to cut into one though. Like an old girl friend, a piece of history, familar territory etc.
Midget,
I’m currently working on an E-Foam project and heard over the coconut wireless that you were working with it as well?
I appologize for getting off the subject.

Haven’t heard about E-Foam but I am always iinterested in exploring something new. It’s what I enjoy most about this period in surfboards that we arer experiencing.
