i was wondering if anyone knew how clark layed out their rocker dimensions on their PDF’s. for instance on the 12’3" there are twelve rocker measurments. are they spaced at equal lengths apart ? example,12’3" divided by twelve =12 1/4" X 12 ?
or are they the tip , the tail and one foot increments towards center with the excess lost in the middle? example,nose,11"3",10"3",9’3",8’3",7’3" space 5,4,3,2,1, tail?
im trying to cut some blanks and i just want to get my templates right.
the 6’2"C has six stations? same thing.equal spaces or 6’2",5’2",4’2" space 3’,2,‘1’?
uncle d ,you mentioned that you and parmenter copied the 12’3" any idea?
There in foot/12" increments…on the 12.3 I believe the blank distals the odd inches???
I’m guessing, since that Clark foam was such an advocate of the “bar method” of measuring bottom curves, (bar centered on bottom of blank) that the spacing of dimensions probably starts from each tip and works back to center in 12" increments. -Carl
from dead bottom/midline out to tips…ask Grubby.

I would, but he seems to be pretty hard to get a hold of these days. But I actually think it’s the other way around. I’ll pull some of the Clark blanks we have stored out tomorrow and check the measurements against the catalog. -Carl
Carl, it explained to me as ; from the center out to the tips…as far as being ,“on the money” as you know it varies from blank to blank…even the person pouring will make differences in dimentions.
by-the-way…Lazymoto is a great call sign…lol
thanks for the info guys. its with a “d” ,not a “t”. like quasimodo ,with less motivation.
sorry about that…eyesight going,(a secondary to chemo/latriel) ,especially when I first wake up !!! I guess if I go completely blind,I could call my surfboards,“DareDevil Surfs” !!!
Hey Carl…sorry hope I didn’t make you go to heels…I got a 7.3 becker…that’s whole,maybe a 9.1…oh yeah…a 8.7 R…YEAH.GET BACK WITH IT.

MEASUREMENTS:
All measurements are given in English Units followed by Metric Units. The measurements along side the blank picture showing width and thickness and rocker are spaced 12 inches apart starting at the nose and tail. There is also a measurement at the very center of the blank. For example the second measurement from the bottom on the far left would represent the width 24 inches from the tail of the blank. The middle measurement on the far left would be the width at the centre of the blank. The nose and tail rockers are measured from the bottom of the blank to the bottom of the nose and the bottom of the tail.

Well, that answers that question.
