Hey Huie its great to see that you have a coil to try.I remember when I had posted how I felt that compsand costruction wasn’t the most high performance build compared to what the coil guys were doing and you defended my choice indirectly.
I agree that the Brasingtons and Mike have something great going with the way they build boards.I am sure that there are some good compsands but for me nothing can compare to the lively feel that I get from riding a coil.I am still riding my first coil which is close to 5 years old and it feels the same as the first day I rode it and it looks pretty white to boot.
I have a new board coming that is going to be the same color as the 1 you posted and i can hardly wait!!
Huie is the board that you posted pics of yours?
Have you ridden it and is it similar to what you build?

Ha Huie I would love to post some pics when I get the board but as far as being a good surfer its going to be a while before I will let somebody takes pics.I broke my lower leg in half in a motocross crash and i have a plate and 8 screws holding it together.The recovery has been very rough but a few more months and I think i might be back to normal!
How did you injure your self making a board?
Surfercross I am jealous you still have your first coil . My first one treated me so well all over the time i had it . sold it cause i lost 20 pounds and it felt kinda beefy . i recently saw it for sale on Craigslist and almost got it back 
. 3 years later and it has been all over the world and it still had no dings .
my quiver is now made up of all coils from 5-5 to 7-0 . nothing comes close to the feel of them .

Megamind, M80 with a diamondtail, Flashback roundtail.
The color is, uhm, exactly like on the white boards but not white. It’s not a solid layer of paint, it’s more of a tint. Pretty hard to describe, but it looks good. I can get you a closeup photo if you want.

How to choose your next board with so many choices?
how are we coming with the closeup shots . id like to see the cutlaps on the carbon. is it a tisue to make the green or is it paint under the glass. what sort of fin plugs are in them. what do they weigh. what are the dimensions . how thick are they. what are the fins made of. whats the fins foil thickness. where are they placed on the board. how much toein do they have . can you see the weave of the cloth up close or is it clear etc etc etc

Yeah, sorry about taking forever. I was out getting some waves over the weekend, the boards rides better then they look. And they look pretty damn good if you ask me. I dont have any closeups yet, but there are some pretty good closeups that might do here
Plugs are fcs fusion. I didn’t weigh the boards before putting a tail pad on but coils are light. The texture of the weave is somewhat visible.
M80 5’10" x 20.25" x 2 9/16" - 1.02 ft3
Flashback Round. 6’0" x 20.5" x 2.5" - 1.09 ft3
Megamind. 5’7" x 22.25" x 2.5" - 1.2 ft3

eh thanks for that link those close up shots are great. very wide boards. im riding 21 to 22 wide and up to three inches thick . carbon railed stringerless eps board and it goes pretty good
