11-2 Crowd Pleaser! I was really looking for a challange. While in Hawaii I ran across some beautiful boards out at Country Surfboards at the North Shore (Hawaii) . I fell in love with the curved stringer design (which I later found out that it’s called “butterfly stringers”. So I ordered an 11 ft plus blank with the for-mentioned stringer setup. Taking a template off from my older 11-0 a shape came into mind. Thank goodness for the razor plane as it makes life easier working with mutiple stringers and angles. Glassing was done at PSG. 8x8 Volan top with an 8 oz. Volan bottom. Finish and polish. Single fin box. The job came out beautiful which made up for the time in the shop (8 weeks).
