I’m shaping a few single-fins, a few with side-bite options, as of late. So far, I’ve been putting channels in them. I like the look but haven’t surfed them yet, so we’ll see. I’d like to move away from that and work with concaves on these single-fins for a bit. But I’m not sure how the concaves should go to maximize performance on that type of board. Any ideas? The boards are anywhere between 6’6"s and a foot less.
Also, what type of paint should I use if I wanted to do some really detailed mural-like brush work on foam? Most of the color pen options I’ve seen aren’t great, and I’m trying to stay away from airbrushing.
Thanks for your time.
