Cooperfish advice

Could some Cooperfish owners could offer some feedback about the different boards (Mellow Yellow, Hornet, Nova, etc.). I like a wide range of waves-not stuck to one spot. I’m a pretty capable surfer. Thinking of 9-6 to 10 feet. Any comments?

I’m sure his Hornet model is pretty versatile and I hear they do well in bigger surf. Check his website: www.cooperfishsurfboards.com. Go into info, then Q&A. I personally would like to try one of his V-bottoms.>>> Could some Cooperfish owners could offer some feedback about the different > boards (Mellow Yellow, Hornet, Nova, etc.). Any comments? if you live close to the north county of san diego, it would be worth it for you to talk to woody at the leaucadia surfshop. he’s ridden most all of the models from rincon to swami’s and knows each shape’s character. or call the shop (760) 632-9700, he’s very cool and is willing to spend time to talk about cooperfish. i myself own a hornet as my one and only longboard and have been very happy with it’s all around performance. i have ridden it at beach and reef breaks, in ankle slappers to overhead and it can cruise as well as draw a nice turns in the larger stuff…

Rode it in and around Pacific Beach last summer. I just got it back in the water b/c the Airlines worked it over. I rode it on a nice head high hollow day at Rockaway Beach, NYC. It is the cruiser! Beats all the sections and you can really roll it around on its belly. Under the nose there are channels and you can pump for speed off of them in bigger surf or little mushy stuff. It surfs better than me… I’d lay a bet any Cooperfish you chose would be a nice addition to your quiver. Colin
