Of the Cooperfish longboards, which works best in small beach breaks, as far as a fast, smooth stable ride, and without regard to noseriding capabilities? Has anyone ridden The Device? Is it primarily a noserider? Thanks.

I have a 7’ Comet and have talked to him about boards for bigger beach breaks. The Hornet was recommended. The Mello Yello Modelo might be your next choice (based on his description not my experience). The Comet is a blast by the way.

How’s that fish working? Never did here much about it… it’s been magic. i don’t surf hardly anything else. took it to fiji and rode well overhead, lined up, reef surf and it was stellar. it works great in surf from waist high on up. just a bit tricky when it’s super hollow though. i just got the cooperfish, it’s a beautiful board and will be a change of pace now and then. am i responding to “fishface”…
