Was definately the best winter I've experianced on the south coast... and the best according to those older and wiser too.
Quite a wave. It reminds me of ''Backdoor'' at Pipeline. Colder water though, eh?
Some of the guys I surf with are in that clip, I surfed later in the day on the third section of the reef just round the headland in the film - amazing swell...and yes Bill - you've hit the nail on the head...it was bloody cold!
I hope you got that 7' 10'' board of yours into those waves. It's tailor made for those kind of conditions.
