Creased bottom of longboard -advise?

After a couple of sessions in overhead waves I checked the bottom of my eps/epoxy LB  (Proctor Super strong glassing)and noticed a very slight crease spa wise across the bottom and a small ding lining up with it on the rail. The ding I can handle fixing but I am not sure what to do about the crease (if anything) I would love to hear advice from the Swaylocks crew. I really like this board and would like to keep it for awhile. I will attach some pictures. BTW the stringer is not cracked

Thanks Jimi

That…is a fracture. Foam failure. Glass is the only thing holding it together. I would say there is no saving her other than adding a couple more stringers and gluing the break in the foam. Might as well start anew. It will only get worse with further use. I can’t imgine it will ride the same after a while. Start looking at the blank catalog.

Buckled. I’ve fixed several filling the crease with cabosil and glassing layers of increasing size 4oz glass using a slight diamond pattern so as to not create a straight area for future failure.  I’ve always had good luck, as long as rocker wasn’t altered by crease.

Tblank and Phoebus, thanks for the help. I was afraid that was the case. The rocker doesn’t appear to be compromised so I will repair it and get ready for the eventual break.

Thanks again

Jimi

Cut out glass+foam that’s delam. Seal with epoxy+microballon in two batch, first one liquid that go in foam, second one past thick to feel. Sand and laminate some fiberglass, no need to add much, resin seal reinforced foam, diamon pattern. I do it a lot it works.
