Hi so I ended up with a ding on the bottom of the nose of my crime foamie. After a series of events it’s now a routed out hole. It has a epoxy bottom. Was wondering if any of you have worked on boards like these and what would be your procedure of filling and making water right with the hole being next to the foam edge. Any info is appreciated.
Crime eh? Gotta be another one of those “Global Surf” fake brands.
Sand the area around the ding even onto the rail. You will most likely want to wrap the cloth onto the rail. I use a slurry made of ground or grated EPS foam, Q-cell and Epoxt Resin to fill holes like these. Glass over with cloth and Epoxy. Hotcoat and sand. Find a close match spray can at Home Depot, Paint and clear coat. Wet sand in between coats of paint and clear. PS If that is a resin tint, you can disregard the paint and clear coat and instead try your hand at a tint match.
That sure looks like it would work!
