Heyo everyone!
I wanted to post a bit about a project I’m working on at the moment; it’s a pledge drive to fund a collection of boards built with eco-resin (Entropy’s killer super sapp resin) and a bevy of recycled and recycleable foam types to offer at a silent auction/art show I’ll be holding this fall. The really fun part is that the profits from the show get donated to an organization that’s been doing a lot of help make sure that the last bits of our northern Santa Barbara coastline are looked after and protected from extreme development. Essentially I’m raising money to help back up my business and create some really unique boards to then raise some money for someone else.
So far the respnse has been through the roof and I’ve even gotten questions from a lot of shapers and artists asking if they can collaborate on projects for the show; I’m super stoked to have people help out with it but it won’t happen unless this pledge drive is a success!
I started what I do with the help of super generous people at swaylocks and a ton of searching the forums for the asnwers to my -obscure- questions; so now I’m asking for your help again in any way you can, donations are awesome and you get some pretty cool stuff in return; but spreading the word as far as you can is a major help even if you can’t spare the change!
