I need some help, I lamenated the bottom of a 6’ 4" Rounded Pin last night using the cut-laps, made the cuts today and every thing turned out fine. I had to clean-up the cuts by sanding a little, couple of bumps here and there nothing major. My question is, How do I clean up the sanded epoxy? Do I Just blow it off with air? Wipe it down with water: I know I don’t use acetone. I’m worried about contamination.
it only has the fiber glass cloth on i ran out of resin but should be geting some more at the end of this week (also its stringer less) but here some pics there are some mud color spots because when i was laminating the bottom a gust of wind blew it over but i got must of the dirt and such off o and making a small dint on the left rail by the nose
another board i did my first board ever i did the same thing but i used this weird tan sealent stuff and i screwed up the color but its really loose when you can get a ride (its 4’9" but not a bad board in waist high or up to head high) sorry to kind of highjack the thread

if you can’t see theres a bob marley "one love ablum picture on the nose in black and white
O yeah the pin tail was the second board that i shaped and glasses and the fish was the first ive shaped some before but never glassed then so now im just glassin
well i havent been able to surf them because of two reason’s that i can’t fix (easily)
1 i dont have a wet suit anymore (my last one i sold because i grew out of it, then spent that money on epoxy)
and 2 i live around 200 miles from the beach and
3 if you count this its been around 22 degrees F this week and i haven’t surf in 126 days today (last time was a month long trip at the outer banks good swell at the end up by kill devil hills)
but yeah i wish i could help but if it any help i’m going crazy landlocked. so crazy that (when it was warmer) i took my boards to a lake that has fish that if you you’ll get canser, and just paddled around
but this might help i went skurfing with my freind on this 4’10" 3" thick fish and i was really really light and durable ( i smacked it on the boat once not a ding a small mark from the paint but nothing major) also i noticed how boyent the board (and loose) is maybe because it was 1lb foam or because it was 3" thick…
but if you plan on making a small wave board i say go for it if you are or the person you making it for are on the heavier side i would just glue in a stringer (i don’t because i’m about 115lbs and we dont get epic (tow in) days of even close half the time. but if you want to go without a stringer or don’t have the money then i would go with heaver glassing
