Hey I sanded my cut laps on a red tinted board. Problem is, now there is a pinkish area around where the lap meets the bottom lam. what should I do, and how did this happen?the pink area is only on the flats, not the dark rails

Did you prime the lap prior to sanding? I've had this happen if I don't tint the resin used on the lap prime.
Oh yeah, add to my previous post "and if I'm doing a tinted deck". Obviously, don't tint the lap prime if you're doing a clear deck.
entire board is red with dark rails
was it pink looking because it was sanded ? and once you got it wet it darkened up?
