If this is the wrong forum, please forgive me.
I’m wondering if anyone knows a gentleman by the name of Dan Garcia.
He’s an American expatriate who, at last contact, was living on the south
eastern side of Costa Rica in a little town named Puerto Viejo.
I met him on a vacation to CR a few years back and he shaped me a couple
of balsas…‘jungle boards’ he called them…under the name Ol’aba.
(get it?..puerto viejo…old harbor…ol’aba…)
It’s sort of a shot in the dark, but I know he has intertubes down there so
I thought I’d see if he was on the forums here or if anyone knew him.
