I have downloaded a copy of DAT Designer 98 and it expires after 31 days. Does anyone know how to keep it running for longer or is there a better CAD program available for designing templates. Is it possible to print full size templates as this feature is turned off in the DAT 98 demo.
Thanks for that I will check it out.

Jeff,
Regarding printing. We’re currently working on a summary sheet, will be out real soon, it’s just more data and a couple of small pictures. It’s good to keep things straight in the factory with boards and good to give to customers to show them what they are getting. We have a slice print feature.
But I was wondering how you would print out a full size template. On a bunch of papers and then stick them together? Or do you have one of those old school printers with the roller paper?
Miki used to have on of those and we used to print profiles on those and measure and compare boards to check for accuracy. It was sort of fun but got time consuming after a while.
Enjoy the program.

Thanks for that it sounds good. If I was to print out a full template I would print it on a plotter. But being able to print out the data would be good also.
