David Nuuhiwa Fish

Anyone have pictures of the David Nuuhiwa fish? Or measurements would be cool too. ie; nose and tail widths.

Jon, I know this doesn’t addess your immediate needs, but I am building an archive where people can submit their own photographs and information on boards. Stay tuned and thanks for thinking ahead of the curve. Swaylock>>> Anyone have pictures of the David Nuuhiwa fish? oops sorry - perhaps you should try David Nuuhiwa directly: David Nuuwiwa Surfboards P.O. Box 1117 Sunset Beach, CA 90742 ph/fax 714-893-1101 >>> Anyone have pictures of the David Nuuhiwa fish? Thanks but I tried that already and they would not give any information because they were convinced I was trying to replicate the board with some other shaper. Why I want this info is because I put the measurments in my computer and recreate the shape. From there I can see if the shape can work for me or not. Any information on this board would be appreciated. Jon

AND THEY ARE RARELY OVER 5’11 IN LENGTH, I HAVE A 1972 SKIP FRYE FISH(LIS COPY)5’9" IN MY RAFTERS ACCUMULATING VALUE.

Aloha Mike, There is a picture of the Nuuhiwa Fish on our Web page, www.davidnuuhiwasurfboards.com in the “ad Gallery” I have talked to this man, several times, and advised him to custom order based on his size and weight, and he wants me to give all dimensions to him, instead. David did give him some dimensions, but it looked as if he just wanted our time to reproduce our board. Mahalo, D Nuuhiwa http://www.davidnuuhiwasurfboards.com

Aloha David, Thank you, for the picture! That is exactly what I wanted to see. NO, I do not want someone else to reproduce that board for me. What good is that? Without the real eagle on the board, it’s just another board. So why the dimensions? I need to know without a doubt if it will float me, that’s all. Most surfers like myself are curious and not out to screw shapers. That’s why we love websites like this. We the have the upmost respect for the trade. Thank you Steve
