Decisions...Epoxy or Fiberglass Same price

Ok here is the situation. I can get EPS blanks locally problem is you have to use epoxy which is a hell of alot more expensive then Poly.

I can get a Clark Blank but have to pay shipping, yet use poly for the resin which is much cheaper.

So basically I have to choose between the two styles of board which cost the same to make. Which would you chose and why?

Thanks.

Also another question. I just watched a guy do the inital glassing of a board today…whoo hoo…

now. Epoxy how much do I need for a 9’ x22" board when glassing with a 6 bottom and 6/6 top?

Email Greg Loehr for his Resin research Epoxy at gl10@aol.com Price is comparable to polyester. He can tell you anything and everything you need to know about epoxy.

I just laminated the bottom of a 9’6" x 23" today used 2 layers of 4 oz and 650mls of epoxy (just over 1 pint)

Epoxy is not more expensive then poly…just a hell of a lot better…and easier to use…

Has anyone spoken to Greg in the past week or so? I have been trying to get hold of him since last week using GL10@aol.com to no avail. I know that’s not like him and hope all is fine.
