What is the common glassing schedule for midlengths and shorter boards with deck patches like this? are they done with a third layer on the deck like longboards? does one full 6 oz covered with a 2/3 6oz deckpatch make for a durable board?
You can go 6 patch with full 6 - 6 patch with full 4 or 4patch with a full 6.
I tend to run the 6oz patch/full 4oz most often on shorter boards and the opposite on longer.
I do also run 6:6 - just depends on the board and my desires for the build. Makes for a bit heavier but strong board. I personally like a little weight to my boards so this is usually my personal choice.
I also use a 3/4 length patch so both my feet stay on it.
