Delams from being in the car?

Newbie question, I know, but will my board delam if I leave it in the car in a daybag during the day (coastal San Diego).

If it’s poly foam or expanded ps you shouldn’t worry but if your board

is extruded ps then worry a bit. If you can park in the shade, leave

your bag open a bit and leave the windows open a bit.

If there are any airbubbles under your glass job they will expand when your board heats up and cause delam over time. It definately takes some of the life expectancy off your board if you keep it in the car all the time. I am always on the go and keep my board stashed in my car all the time,not too big a deal, just make sure it is covered so there is no direct sunlight on it. I would not do it to any board that you are especially fond of.

It’s not an every day thing… it’s just that when I drive down and do a dawn patrol it would be easier to leave the board in the car when I get to work than worry about trying to park closer so I can bring it in. (the cube farm ain’t very well suited for it ya know?)
