Depth of Byrne Channels?

Anybody know what the maximum depth of Byrne style channels is on a channel-bottom board?

I have an old beater Byrne channel bottom, but have to move a bunch of crap in my garage to get to it to measure. But I’m pretty sure its real close to 1/4" at the deepest point.

If you get the chance, I’d really be interested to know max channel depth.
Maybe it wasn’t Byrne, but it seemed like I saw some fairly deep channels?

Digging through my surfboard archives I came across the board, I wasn’t able to pull it out to take pics, but you’re right, the channels are deep, like 1/2” deep.
