As seen at www.naishsurfing.com
Except for “pin vs. square”, looks a lot like:
http://www.waldensurfboards.com/Superwide-Mini-Magic-P31C51.aspx
-Samiam
except for the length it looks just like a 64 webber performer
except for the line drawing it looks just llike an Iggy shape
except for the guy riding it in fiji it looks just like tom padaka at ventura
except for the water it looks just like riding an arena horse
bareback at the 3 ring circus standing up.
except for the ad campagain it looks like a cool board.
is history written by marketeers?
unfortunately yes.
- because they produce multiple units
2.because they publish pictures to document their work
3.although one may make fine examples of detailed and revolutionary
designs ,without this documentation and oppertunity for general review
the 'credit ’ goes to the marketing sector and not the grassroots
…thats just the way it is…
…ambrose…
…one off in paradise…
each board is a rembrant
if only someone would hang it in the Louvre
alas but it is just a board washed up on the beach in a ventura
or covered with snow on a lawn in oregon
something a rembrant could never endure
surfboards are an amazing medium of communication
Those marketing phrases are the worst.
I thought that board’s outline sucked, like a rail-catching machine.
The WP looks to go from about 3’ to about 4’6", on the 6’…
The photo gallery at their website is kinda funny, actually…
Some of those quotes are the worst I’ve seen this side of Japanglish…
Did Surftech’s Samolian division put this thing together?
EDIT: Also, it needs a quick-release:
Michael Ritzmann v. Nalu Kai Inc. d/b/a Naish International
2/5/2007 07cv0143
Products liability case in which the defendants manufactured and sold
the plaintiff a “pivoting hammerhead kite bar” for his kite board that
lacked a quick-release mechanism. The plaintiff was thrown to the beach
and dragged July 9, 2005, when he lost control of the kite board during
landing. He was knocked unconscious and his knee was severely injured
as a result.
