I was thinking of gathering all the materials and asking the teacher tomorrow so i can start on it by the next time I have woods club which is thursday… for the frame or stringer will maple or plywood work? because im pretty sure that there isn’t any balsa, cedar or the common surfboard making woods… so hopefully i was wondering if you could tell me common wood i can gather. It will really be helpful if you can tell me the dimensions or amount i will need, i plan on it being around 7-8 feet long. I was thinking of maple for the frame because it is pretty light, but not light enough? not dense enough?
