Here’s how you post a video into a post in the new forums.
Just type the following pattern right into your editor:
[ video: video url ]
So, for example, if you want to post a YouTube video, copy the url to the video and paste it into the video url in the pattern above. Make sure there’s no spaces in the embed pattern.
[video:http://youtube.com/watch?v=YolqPak-b54 ]
Videos can be embedded from the following video services:
YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uN1qUeId
Google Video http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-uN1qUeId
DailyMotion http://www.dailymotion.com/us/featured/video/x59_some_title
Eyespot http://eyespot.com/share?cmd=permalink&r=0XCzIG2UEx9hoXiEJW07IWpUtT
Jumpcut http://jumpcut.com/view?id=31410FA4169E11DDB25E000423CF385C
Revver http://revver.com/video/856351/the-title/

One minor issue, when I attempt to access the help (up right link)
the URL http://www.swaylocks.com/help/
I was going to check and see if it is possible to post .swf files ?
right in the text area where you type your messages put the url to the video between brackets with “video:” in front of it exactly like this:
[video:http://url to your video]
only videos/urls from the sites listed above can be used

[ video : ____________________________ ] (No spaces though)
Easier to paste in your URL first and then add the brackets and “video:”

Chris, if you’re trying embed a youtube vid, here’s the trick -
at the bottom of the vid click the “share” link
then click the “show options” link to the right
check the “long link” box
copy the displayed link
open your swaylocks new topic or reply window
use the code below making sure there are no spaces -
[ video: pasteyourlinkhere ]
For example here’s a vid i took of my brother on a recent board I made for him
[video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APZ45MYqYoY ]
