A neighbor of mine who is a hardcore surfer gave me 5 old boards that I stripped and reshaped into kiteboards. One board that was poorly repaired he said was a “classic” and not to reshape but restore it. I could not find any shaper signature/date but the logo reads “MOKSHAW” it’s a 7’6" pintail. Anyone heard of this guy?
Don’t know of the shaper but did I see a sanding pad on the bench being tortured in the second pic.
Delete double post. Why does that happen?
Sometimes if you hover the mouse pointer too long over the button you’ll get an accidental double post…at least that’s my theory…Ha!
A person would never want to google ‘Mokshaw Surfboards’ its just so much easier ‘mentally’, but not
typing wise, to just post the question here.
Well I found the answer, but its just so much easier ‘mentally’ to not copy and paste it here.
Sssshhhhh…
Why are you giving away the secret of the Google?
Guys if I wanted sarcasm I’d talk to the wife! Mokshaw - besides definition does not appear on any searches. If this is not a shaper of value I’ll strip the glass and reshape the clark foam. Anybody really know who this shaper is?
I will trade a perfect blank for it. one & a half eps, with or sans stringer, or Ice Nine poly. I am in HB
What are you using, AOL?
I had no trouble finding a website related to the shaper. Learned an interesting tidbit, as well. There is a connection to one of the contributors here.
Try again.
wow and I even told you how to do it :** google ‘Mokshaw Surfboards’**
One thing I can pat you on the back for is posting this up properly with pics.****

What!? Yer gonna strip that thing its conditon looks mighty fine and its a classic, when I do this the board has to be a piece of junk not a pigmented pinstriped vintage, you can get more cash for it then the trouble it would take. I would go up on SickDogs offer.
Looks like a nice board be a shame to cut it up I can find the website with the instructions above with a basic android phone can’t figure out how to cut and paste the addres but the shaper is Lanny Shuler
Sick dog,
The bottom of the nose looks like somebody attempted to use bondo to fix it about a foot back. I’ll take a picture of it tonight and post it. I e-mailed Lanny Shuler to see if he would remember what year he shaped it. If you still are interested I’d love a fresh blank for trade. I live in HB also.
Cool, If you really don't want to recieve PMs, what do you suggest for a contact point? (I will be the guy with hairy legs sporting a white carnation)
I just talked to Lanny Shuler and it turns out he shaped that board in 1969 when he was 19 years old. He does not own any old boards and is really excited about acquiring it for his shop to talk to story. We will see what happens.
