i never have named a board but i've always thought Amos_Moses would be a great name for a gun.

I read or saw something that said all of Charlie Watt’s kids are named Charlie.

what about logos that go with the names ???

Hey i am not one to name boards but....

me and a few mates were on a long weekend surf trip and we were out surfing on a point break. I was was the only one out on a mal. It was my newly shaped hollow 9ft redwood mal.

I was out a fair bit deeper than my mates and picked off a nice set wave and rode on passed them, as i did my good mate yelled out " hey look there goes a house with not windows" and ever since thats what the board has been called

antony

Best answer, yet.

Of all the boards I’ve built or owned, just two have names. One was mentioned a few weeks ago. It’s called the Kook Buster. An old, late 60s Harbour that I re-shaped and glassed. It’s thick, wide, and heavy. Just under 8’ in length. I use it to deal with crowds on small days. I don’t care if it gets dinged and that doesn’t happen easily, anyway.

The other one is a rehabbed 9’6 Crestwood. Mid 60s vintage. It weighs nearly 30 lbs and rides like crap. I call it the Goon Crusher for obvious reasons. Any goon who gets in the way of it will most likely get crushed.

My first board was way too thick and 8ft long, so one of my friends called it “the tanker”.

I called my second “the blue swallow” because it was blue and had a swallow tail.

My third was was failed crappy compsand longboard so I just called it crap and brought it to the container park.

The fourth is in construction since today (I glued the stringer an hour ago, it’s drying now), lets see how this one will be called.
