Bienvenidos, JeseaRast.....

Like you, I couldn't afford a high dollar planer.  Which might be lost on me anyway because my skills are in the "developing" category.

I bought a reconditioned Bosch 1594K-RT that I'm really happy with.  What I like the most is that the exhaust flips easily from one side to the other, so you never have to eat foam while planing, a huge improvement over this tool's predecessor.

I found a link to where I got the tool:

http://www.cpotools.com/factory-reconditioned-bosch-1594k-rt-3-1-4-in-planer-with-carrying-case/bshr1594k-rt,default,pd.html?start=5&cgid=bosch-planers

Sorry, it looks like it's a little higher than your price range.

More experienced folks here might be able to let you know if there's a downside to this planer, but so far I'm pretty happy.

thank you for the link and information!

bosch is a quality brand to trust, and as you mentioned the exhaust feature, sounds great.

20$ more for a quality planer i think i could defiantly do.

thanks again.

Lots of info on this planer or one similar and modifications are available on here.

Hope this helps.
