Does anyone use AquaTech Glassing?

This venom has been building up for a year now dude. Paint jobs done wrong. Boards sitting in his shop for months. Directions not followed. Glossy finishes with sanded patches here and there. Dont get me wrong, I’m not the type of person that demands a free meal when I find a hair in my soup. I’m not trying to kill the guys buisness. In fact I think scott is a nice guy. I don’t think I’ve had one board come out the way I wanted. Pretty frustrating. I’ts just basic good buisness practice, when you mess up, take responsibility for it. I dont think scott has personaly even touched one of my boards. He has his “Home Depot Helpers” do the work. And you know what, thats fine with me, just as long as I get what I paid for and they have it done when they say it will be done. I am the little guy on the totem poll, regardless, I’m sure scott can use all the buisness he can get. Why should I get crappy service. I pay just like everyone else. and probably more than others. Not too mention, if you read the string the very first guy to post said he had the same problems.

Aquatecksucks, here we have some companies that doesn’t do a good job on our boards.

My shaper shaped me a really nice longboard, i took it to one of the “best” (biggest) surfboard factories here in Spain, they told me the job will be done in a week and it took two months and it came with bubbles, bad sanding job, “non shining polished finish”, etc.

Well, i talked with them… no solution, no apologies, just “you know how’s this in summer, we have a lot of work…”.

So i took my board and i’ve never came back to the shop.

It’s that easy, if you don’t like their job, don’t come back.

Sincerelly, you wrote what you wanted to, and for some reasons (i agree with them) moderators locked the thread… we’ve read you, we don’t need to read it again every day, now we know your opinion.

You can be sure we get your point.

Also, i read posts in the same thread from other users who put their real name, and i’m sorry, but their opinions, for me, deserve more respect and trust than yours, just because they put their names, and because the way they wrote it.

Hey AquatechSucks, go and open a glassing company, and you’ll make a lot of money with such a poor competition!!!

Go and ride those boards, the bubbles wont drag a lot if your shape is good!! Enjoy them!

the thread was locked for a reason in round 1…why go for round 2?

i don’t know AquaTech or this mysterious “Scott”…but i don’t doubt

that you had a bad experience there. so, as the consumer who was

a victim of AquaTech’s poor business practices, why not let the BBB

know…and then find yourself a better glass shop…or (maybe i’m

going out on a limb here) why not just glass your own boards??

Dont get me wrong, I’m not the type of person that demands a free meal when I find a hair in my soup. I’m not trying to kill the guys business===========================================================================================

Well bud, I get you wrong. You are slanderous. You can take your business elsewhere.

Amen - Please, do we look like we want to “feed a troll,” re. your aquatech experience. Sorry about your luck, but this place is not about that kind of thing. If, however, you want advice on doing your own glass job, then you have come to the right place. Peace, mahalo, Taylor

Get it? It ain’t all about you. Especially anonymously.

Beat it, kook.

Steeeeeerike Two!!! By locking this up (again) your opinion will be out there for others to read (again). But your trip has run its course. My experience with Scott Anderson and Aquatech has been very good. They glassed one of my edge boards and did a great job and did it on time. I ordered a Pescado with custom fin boxes and placement and got what I wanted, when I wanted it. Sorry you didn’t have the same experience. Talk to Scott about it, go to the BBB or take your business elsewhere.
