Saw the post below while searching for my Dad’s old boards that are out there.

Just an update.   My Dad passed in Feb 2020.   The OP in the archive link above asked the question about what was going on…long shot to give him an answer if he’s still following.   Yes, I am in Wilmington, still surf but do not shape. 

 

Thanks to Swaylocks for maintaining the Archive.   It was good to read about my Dad.

Hi LDBennett, your Dad was appreciated by only a lucky few that rode his boards; which is nice, his boards spoke for themselves. I’ve received an email from you. I’ll respond more there. 

PS. the board in my avatar was my only Surfboards by Don. It rode great. It’s also one of my biggest regrets getting rid of it.
