I heard the same thing about Australia. If you haven’t been to his shop in Oceanside, CA, you are missing out. Every one of the (oh, about two hundred) boards in there are hand shaped by DT, and the price tag will prove it to you. His shortboards start in the fives, and his longboards start in the eights. The really good shortboards are six, and the really, really nice longboards are well over a grand. But, there is no denying that a Hawaiian Pro Designs by DT is the most Hawaiian-feeling and Hawaiian-riding board produced on the mainland. If you don’t believe me, then you haven’t ridden one. It’s the same as eating a steak that doesn’t need any steak sauce. Well, okay that’s cheesy. Go ride one. I wish I could afford two, a shortboard and a longboard.

that just goes to show you all worring about china and competition! make a good product people will pay what its worth! i look forward to the day when i can have even a small share of the greatness some of these talented older craftsmen have!>>> I heard the same thing about Australia. herbert i think we might be. in november we had a spitzer family reunion but the rest of the spitzers said they didnt want you there. sorry dude. we perused a few of your posts and you seemed to show violent and unusual tendencies. The spitzer family has in the past been infiltrated by in-breeding, and in an effort to rid our lineage of this curse, you were deemed to be a possible offspring of evil. in the 1800’s, the great Gerald Pernebecker Spitzer 111, was a madman known of copulating with his sisters, and this is now a defective gene in the spitzer family tree. Steps are being made to rid ourselves and future generations of this problem. dont be alarmed at this revelation, my dear herbert. there is a simple test that can be administered to prove this fact or falacy. please contact your mothers sisters second cousins brother in law who married you fathers cousin’s step child you could be invited to the next gathering in finland. D.T. was refused resident visa because of his criminal record. Coke sales. > Too bad, I guess Oceanside is a perfect fit. I could be wrong, but I believe that problem has been satisfied. He started working on long before pulling up stakes.
