hi,
i have seen this on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoHSzaTsJ5c
in the second half of the video greg webber explain his new double. also his complete boardrange is available with the double.
i think it could work perfekt, in adding the easy surfing of the vee to the lift, speed and the grip of the concave.
**what do you think? great idea?
**
has anybody tried?
if:
how deep?
where placed?
good results?
i shaped it into my last fish. looks great, but havent been in the water…
i shaped it 1/8" deep. maximum between feet. starts 2 feet from nose. ends 6" befor tail. maximum vee is at maximum concave.
thanks for answers, ideas…

ui thats nod good…
but theoretically… could it achieve good results?? or is it a no go?
Like you I’ve been interested in this 'Webber hull" for quite a while. He does a nice job of explaining the reasoning behind it ( especially the stuff about the extra ‘grab’) - allowing of course that he’s out to create a point of difference for his shapes.
A local dealer has them and they look great - I’ve talked to a few dudes who own one ( a couple on the intraweb n a couple at the beach) and they all really like them.

hi,
2 days ago i had the first session on my new fish with the double vee concave i descibed above.
it works really well.
the waves were small and slow and i have to test it also in some bigger stuff…
