I am going to be glassing my first epoxy board next week and was wondering how do I do a tinted cutlap if I’m using double 6 on the bottom? The tint is darker in the areas with more glass so do I have to extend both layers of 6 over the rail? Then if I do that wouldn’t it leave a big lip on the deck? How do I get rid of that? -Thanks

when i tint (which is always), i like to only tint 1 layer…then do the remaining layers clear…i find it gives the color greater depth
So does that mean tint and cutlap the first layer and then run your laps over that on the second layer or cut them short?
