What is Dragon skin and where can I get it other than foamez and fiberglasssupply? Not the same as sanding screen right?
I think it is the same thing as drywall sandpaper that you can find at home depot.

R.I. I would advise against it, for the experienced it is more than neccesary, for the beginer, very scary. It can leave scatches deeper than one can safely sand out without drastically changing the shape. Also, quick go by Gansett Juice to se if any of the boards I shipped are still there!

Hey Jim. Love your boards they sell like hot cakes here in RI! Last time I was in at Gansett there were one or two. Tom over at Warmwinds has a couple also, a three stringer long board. Did you have a shop over in Apponaug, Warwick back in the day? I know a few old surfers who tell me stories of a shaper from Warwick. So, dragon skin is a bad idea? Then I will probably stick with 80 and 100 sanding screen. Thanks for the imput. Rob

Howzit Jim, I agree with you, I know 1 shaper who kept gouging the blank with the corners of his dragon skin, but then again this guy is somewhat of a klutz and definitly not a craftsman. What saves him is he’s a really good tech guy and his shapes work, but I wouldn’t even think of doing a tint job for him, the board would look like a road map with all the gouges and deep scratches in his finished ( or should I say unfinished ) shapes.Aloha, Kokua
