Dual centerfin boxes on Twin

I’m building my first twin, and super curious to try different fin types and placements… I was thinking about using two 10" boxes to be able to adjust fin placement. (using my own fins)

I know it’s a bit hokey but it’s just to help me learn/feel the differences.
Anyone ever try this? Is there a good reason not to do it?

It would be cool to mess around with but one reason to not do it is because the fin box might be too thick for the rail. You might end up routing from the bottom through the deck.
