What are those? Fin molds and? ?

Simon, The mold is bondo. The master plug is high denisity architectural polyurethane foam, bondo and spray paint. The fin is 90A hand-pour polyurethane. The release agent for master plug was a thin film of silicone and Vaseline.

Those side fins were a press in system. I have no idea who made them but there was a plastic piece that you laminated into the board and then pulled it out when the resin gelled. The molded fins then just pressed ino the slot.

Just bumped into this thread today (May 23, 2021).      The fin system mentioned is the circa 1971  PressLock fin system, that I developed/ created in Oct. 1970, and marketed to the industry in Feb. 1971.    Well ahead of the pack.
