Good Luck ! Skip ,just talked to a customer of mine and he was up and walkin around in 3 days and no Pain.
I’m home again, and everything went great. I walked (w a walker)the first day after surgery, and was doing flights of stairs(w/ crutches) the third day. I’m now off of the narcotics and using ES Tylenol. I have to learn to walk again, but it seems to be coming along just fine.
Thanks for all the good wishes. I can’t wait to get back to arguing the finer points of surfing. “What a world we live in”. I’m sure my attitude will be better w/o the chronic pain and stress.

i just went under the knife myself…acl reconstruction. it’s been 10 days and i’m still hobbling on crutches and spending four hours every day in a continuous passive motion (cpm) machine. my life is pretty miserable right now–it’s hard to enjoy summer when you can’t walk, let alone surf. oh well, i’ll return to the lineup around christmas time if everything goes right and hopefully i’ll be walking without a brace before august is over. so stoked for that sesh you wouldn’t believe…

I too had to stop surfing in January. Man, what a bitch! Things change though, I try to stay connected in any way that I can. I’m so ready for that first go out.
