hiya guys, hoping for some help on this one, someones asked me to shape an egg similar to the takayama flo egg, they want it 7'6 ish by 23" wide and prob 3" thick, having never shaped an egg before i was wondering what people would suggest to do with rails, rocker and bottom contour???
it will prob just be a single but im not averse to making it a 2 + 1
modern rocker; slightly rolled entry to flat to slight rolled tail bottom; 50/50s egg rails, 30/70s on the nose; flat deck; tail thickness pass the fin is very thin, near the nose too.
7 1/2 rigid fin 35º rake, 20/80 foil, 5/16 max thickness tapered to the tip
reverb that looks beautiful, thanks so much for posting the pics and dims, really helping me to visualise what i need to do.
as far as rocker ive just got in an 8'1 EA usblank and from reading a few bits on here it sounds a fairly modern rocker but outa curiosity what r ur recomended rocker dims, ive obviously gotta position my template right on the blank and have a fair bit of choice as to which way it goes
