Random Q - I’ve recently fallen in love with asymm boards and have made a couple that worked so well backside I almost prefer that to toeside. The next thing I would like to tackle is an asymm longboard ala Carl Ekstrom’s orig patent and his more recent designs. I’ve snagged some screenshots from the Richard Kenvin project (hydrodynamica?) that has an interview with Carl where he showed a scale model that has both canted side bite (heel side rail) as well as a canted single fin. My question is does anyone know about the canting for an asymmetric longboard single fin? I’m guessing only a few degrees at most? I will DM Richard via his insta but wondered if anyone here knows of the top of their head.
