noticed that B&D is making electric scissors. I use the Dritz and like them a lot, but they are overpriced. Has anyone tried these?

maybe ‘Rubberlove’ and his African “mate” ‘Overboard’ will chime in soon …[and , not forgetting “Aileronito” , of course !]

There are better and cheaper ones around than that Keith. Get one from a sewing shop and make sure it has a sharpening system. They have to be very sharp and you can’t compensate for different grip styles as you can with regular scissors…
i am.
they work pretty good but you have to take your time
they were on sale at HD for christmas and I bought them to cut my bamboo laminate which was a mistake cause they are better glass cutters very powerful compared to the other electric dritz shears I bought.
I might buy another one just for glassing cause I used the one I have to cut just about everything else paper template, rice lams etc etc… not good for the blade.
I’ll use this one for texalium and kevlar
I used the one I have to cut just about everything else
reminds me of a joke …
