How do i make it so i do not recieve an email everytime i get a private message. I’m always checking sways anyway and whenever i go into my email its clogged with these messages.
Any help much apricieted.
Hi Josh,
Go to Edit Profile, pick User Profile and then there’s a pulldown box that says
Send reply notification checked by default:
Select 'No’and there ya go

well, I WON’T say that again …almost became a self-fulfilling prophecy …my computer spat it for a while.
Doc , I did the "pull down " , and “no” thing you mentioned , but I still get the email notification [?!] …do you know any OTHER options to stop it happening , please ?

Whoops- was having a brain cloud there, that was for something else.
Uhm- two ways, maybe, to deal with this one. First is ask Mike if he can put in a checkbox for private messages notifications off/on, if it’s doable in this software package that Sways is based on.
Second, or Plan B, make a hotmail account for yourself, then change the email address setting in your profile here so that all notifications go to that. Check it now and then so that it stays active. Granted, it’s a workaround rather than a solution, but then again…

Howzit doc, I used to get those notices but not any more and I didn’t change a thing in my profile, haven’t gotten a notice in waay over a year or two.Aloha,Kokua
