Anyone know a good epoxy glasser in LA I can have resurrect an abandoned project?
I just found a half-glassed blank that I shaped several years ago (board #1 , actually…)
I shaped it and then my (not so bright) friend recommended we use some of the extra West Systems epoxy he had laying around his house to glass it.
To make a long story short, the board’s bottom is ‘glassed’ (such as it is) but not the deck. The laps are messed up, too.
This was 5+ years ago.
I just found this board again, randomly, and it’s still sitting there, waiting to be finished…
(I’m actually pretty excited about the chance to potentially ride it, the shape doesn’t look half bad)
Any recommendations?
Oh, by the way, it would be ideal if the glasser was knowledgeable about quad fin placement (the template is a sort of Lis-fish knockoff I was planning on making into a quad)
Thanks!

How about posting up some good quality pictures, and maybe getting some guidance to finish up what you started? Could be a good learning experience.

Finish it yourself. A reputable glass shop wouldn't touch it. Shapers responsibilty; Fin Placement.
Yeah its epoxy… its easy do it yourself…
A little epoxy, A little sandpaper some elbow grease…
After 5 years check if its twisted.
