epoxy Gorilla Glue for ding repair

Anyone every try using this stuff for minor repairs on their epoxy boards?  Does it penetrate the fiberglass cloth ok?

Currently, I have the 2 part epoxy stuff from the surfshop, i hate this stuff, takes forever to dry and you have to mix it like your a chemistry student or your screwed. Not a big fan of solarez, its too dense to penetrate cloth. thoughts?

most PU glues dry with no flex and has no UV protection so it will popout, crack become brittle and shatter out in chunkcs…

Use Silicone Seal or 3M marine adhesive to fill a gouge ice cube to smooth out the surface flush

Even marine epoxy putty used to patch boat hulls is better PU glue.

I think most 5 minute epoxy’s are probably a little too viscous to saturate cloth properly. But you never know until you try.

Thinning with dentured alcohol or heating the mixture up would probably help.

They do tend to set kind of “rubbery” though so the ultimate strenght of the repair might not be great.
