I bought some Spanish epoxy and for laminate it went really good. But then with hotcoat it got a thin sticky layer on the surface and showed some pinholes. I test a little fiberglas patch over hotcoat and it cured ok. I sanded and then again sticky with glosscoat and pinholes. The board had something painted (acrylic) and on the painted area and on the finbox the resin is not sticky. On the rails is not sticky without pinholes, sticky element seems to have bled down. Mix ratio between the two components is right. Could it be a problem of epoxy over epoxy?. I phoned people who sold me the epoxy and they told me maybe I need a compound between epoxy layers. They have one. Maybe I’m doing something wrong.
Any idea?.
