epoxy resin panels

Anyone messed with epoxy colored resin panels? any tips on getting them to layout nice and flat? was thinking about maybe thinning the epoxy (rr) with some denatured alcohol or throwing a good bit extra additive f into the mix

Use a Plastic squeegee. You won’t gain anything by thinning or using Add. F.

I would assume you would tape off a bigger portion of the board if your are using a squeegee? I just did my first resin panels. I used a brush and they ended up fairly high (proud) on the board. I’ll try the squeegee next time.

I don’t thin my epoxy and I use brushes mostly.
The panels need a good sanding before I lay down the clear finish coat. But after that, it’s nice and flat.
