I thought to answer jjp’s call to newbies with my first question. I searched through the archives without any luck so there it goes.
I’m building board #1 using two pieces of EPS (#1.8lb/ft). I’ve glued them using the epoxy and 6” glass stinger method.
The problem is that, from what I can see, the EPS has bonded nicely except the last few inches at the tail.
What are my options? The board was going to be a 6’4” fish, so I was thinking maybe to chop off the last 2” to minimise the problem. Would that work?
I found in the archives people saying not to use epoxy all the way to the outline, to avoid any hard ridges. I couldn’t find an answer on how to you fill the voids afterwards though.
Thanks
