Does anyone have any information on these boards (where they are/were shaped, shaper name)? I saw one for sale that was listed as an original 1955 vintage but it looks way too new. The seller got the idea it was from 1955 because that was written on the board by the initials D.P.E.

The company was based in Mission beach and operated out of some shops in Pacific beach. Mostly Star surfing company in Mission blvd. The brand came along and 2 years later the board industry collapse happened. Took a lot of brands out.
The DPE board was a restoration by the way.
