When glassing a short board with 2x4 deck and 4 bottom would adding an extra 4oz deck patch, from the mid point to the tail, help control pressure dings? Is it worth the extra weight?
When glassing a short board with 2x4 deck and 4 bottom would adding an > extra 4oz deck patch, from the mid point to the tail, help control > pressure dings? Is it worth the extra weight? I always have a staggered 4+4+4 deck. The nose area chest forward has only four onces, eight ounces from chest to tail pad and 12 ounces in the tail pad area. It works great for longevity and is not to heavy.
