I have a large fin (9"x12") on my HWS. Is there a lot of force acting on this fin? I feel like one of these days I will make a steep drop and the bottom turn
will cause the fin to tear the bottom skin off the frame.
When I move the fin back and forth a little with my hand and I can hear the skin flexing. The wood skin is only 3/32" and the glass is 4oz with a 6oz tail patch.
What do you think, more glass on the deck or extra roving and foot balls?
